In a baking mood? Try these!
It's cookies with chocolate peaces & hazelnuts.
This recipe should have been on my blog weeks ago, but I never had the time so here it comes:
Ca. 15 peaces:
100 gram (1 3/4 dl) brown sugar
100 gram sugar
125 gram soft butter (1/2 pack)
1/2 vanilla pod
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
150 gram flour
1/2 tsp rough salt
ca. 60 gram hazelnuts (1dl)
175 gram dark chocolate
How to do:
- Turn on your owen at 175 ͦ C
- Mix brown sugar, sugar and soft butter into a bowl.
- Split the vanilla pod and scrape the corn out with the tip of a small knife. (just a hint) mix it in the bowl with the sugar and butter.
Here i used vanilla powder instead, but if you want to do it old fashion, be my guest.
4. Crack the egg and mix it in the bowl.
5. Mix baking powder, flour and salt in a new blown and then mix it with the dough.
6. Chop the hazelnuts. Grate the chocolate, or chop it thorough with a knife. And mix it in the dough
gentle.
If you chop it with a bread knife (or a knife with serration) it will be a lot easier and it wont spread all over your kitchen.
7. Put baking paper on two baking trays. Roll small balls of the dough and put them with a good distance
on the baking paper. - The ball will flow out to a round shaped cookie in the hot owen.
8. Bake one tray at the time. Put the baking tray in the middle of the owen. Bake 10-12 min. to the cakes are brown in the brim. Let them cool of on the tray in 5-10 min. to they are firm.
I can assure you this is the best cookies I've ever tasted!
Try them out a cold day where it's raining or you have an excuse for staying inside.
Smoothie:
The smoothie is more an improvisation. There is many ways of making smoothies. And it's all about your taste. I like this recipe. Actually, it isn't much of a recipe more an outline.
Blend yogurt and one banana and add some frozen raspberries (you can take whatever you like. I like raspberries) Blend it and add now some milk, if the smoothie is too thick. Add some sugar and blend again.
Very easy and quick to make.
